On a soggy July day, I have just returned back from 4 nights in the Lake District, UK, feeling like I need some vitamin C to keep a sniffle at bay.

This super-blackcurrant smoothie bowl is just the thing to perk me up.


Smoothie  (makes one big bowl)

Handful of blackcurrants

2 frozen bananas

Handful of cashews

5 pitted dates (soaked overnight, for optimum blending)

Handful of frozen blueberries

200ml oat or coconut milk

(Blend til smooth)



White peach and apricot slices
