What happens on a coaching  journey?

Coaching allows you to powerfully choose your own direction in life and navigate towards it. It enables you to negotiate ups and downs and achieve what you want for your life.

Coaching provides accountability, motivation and awareness of what is possible for your life. When you find this clarity it is impossible to steer away from what you want.

Coaching brings clarity and a magnetic drive.

When you tap into the part of you that feels whole and has integrity, the motivation to make change comes very easily.

During the process your limiting beliefs will really raise their ugly heads. You will get to know them very well, and most importantly, you will move beyond them. You will know your self much, much better, it is inevitable.


Coaching is life changing. The best way for you to know that is to experience being coached. 


Coaching is different for everyone, it can be emotional, you will learn a lot about yourself and you won’t see the world the same way again.

A typical coaching  journey looks like this:

I firstly invite you to have chat on the phone with me to see if we’re a good match.

The first two coaching sessions are then both 2 hours long. In these first two sessions together we create a strong understanding, rapport and plan. 

After that sessions are 90 mins long. The coaching sessions will be between 2-4 weeks apart.

I coach on a session by session basis, so it’s up to you how many sessions you have. To give you an idea of how long we may be working together, I take on clients for an average of six-twelve months, that is between 15-30 hours of coaching. During the time of working together I will impart tools and techniques to you, that will allow you to coach yourself.

Between sessions there is always regular email contact, for guidance, motivation and support. I often think about each and every one of my clients between sessions and I am co-active coach that likes to maintain contact between sessions.

Every client has access to my library of resources, links and recommendations to useful exercises and pieces of work to facilitate the creation of your own coaching toolkit.

Before and after each time we meet, I spend time preparing and reading your notes, developing unique strategies to best help you achieve your overall goal and the individual actions to get you there.

I heed the International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics.

All of my sessions are strictly confidential and I’m fully insured.

The coaching journey is person centred, rather than being a training exercise, I hone my skills to each person’s needs and desires.

This is also not therapy or counselling

The coach isn’t there to tell you how to live your life. You are the expert in your own life.

My sessions are hugely enjoyable. You will enjoy every one, even when we are wading through the icky stuff, to get to the other side
